15 Online Christian Homeschool Curriculum Picks – 2025 Ultimate Guide

In this post I’m going to share the ULTIMATE guide of online Christian Homeschool curriculum with you. I have 15 different Christian Homeschooling Programs to show you, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find something on this list that you can use in your homeschool. So let’s get started!

Memoria Press Christian Homeschool Curriculum

First on our list of Christian online homeschool curriculum is from Memoria Press. You may already be aware of this curriculum company because they are a popular choice for classical homeschool curriculum. But did you know they offer streaming video lessons as well? Just go to their website, find streaming courses under curriculum, and you’ll see they have video lessons for things like Latin, Logic, The Iliad and the Odyssey, Algebra and Spelling.

The cost of these streaming courses is $55 per course and include lifetime access to the video lessons, so you can use them later on for another student. These streaming lessons do not include textbooks, however, so be sure to purchase the accompanying text depending on the course.

Monarch Online Christian Homeschooling Program

Next on our list is one of the only complete Christian all in one online homeschooling programs. It’s called Monarch, and it’s from Alpha Omega Publications, the company behind the LifePac and Horizons print curriculums as well as Ignite Christian Academy. So if you’re looking for something all in one where they will also do most of the grading, this might be a great choice for you.

With Monarch, one monthly payment gives you access to their entire 3rd through 12th grade curriculum, including over 50 core courses and 60 elective. You can even get a free 30 day trial so you can test it out before you commit.

You’ll get all sorts of customization tools, video and text lessons, quizzes and tests and really everything you could want in a complete online homeschooling program. It’s definitely worth considering if you’re looking for something that’s more hands off for parents.

Lifepac, Horizons, and Monarch Homeschool

Monarch CAN be a little complicated to set up, so if you want to see a full review video, I do have one on my YouTube channel that you can check out.

Schoolhouseteachers Online Christian Homeschool Curriculum

If you’re homeschooling on a budget, but you want a program that’s going to give you access to tons of planning tools, video lessons, unit studies and printable curriculum resources, you’re going to want to check out Schoolhouseteachers.com. You can get this program for less than $15 a month for your entire family, and there’s a seemingly endless assortment of resources to help you homeschool your kids from preschool all the way through high school.

Search for resources by subject or grade level, and you’ll get lesson plans, worksheets, streaming videos from right now media, and access to the World Book online resource library, all included in your subscription. You can follow along and do the entire curriculum for each grade level, or you can pick and choose which resources you want to use. Either way, I think it’s definitely a must have for any Christian homeschool family.

And if you want to know how to get it for less than $15 a month, use this link, choose the PreK-12th grade option, choose the monthly payment option, and then use code MONTHLY at checkout. The price should change to $14.98 per month.

Excelsior Classes

If you’re looking for an accredited Christian Homeschooling program with live classes taught by real teachers, I highly recommend Excelsior Classes. They have a complete middle and high school curriculum including the option to enroll in dual credit courses, and you can enroll in just one course, or use this for your entire curriculum. They even include community clubs, honor societies, and a student newspaper.

Since most of the courses on Excelsior Classes are live, you’ll have to enroll by January 8th for the spring semester. But if you missed that deadline, you can definitely go take a look at their course listing and start planning for next year. Most full year courses cost $596, except for math which is $650. So it’s a little more expensive than some of the other programs on this list, but well worth it if you want your child to have some live instruction in certain subjects.

If you want to learn more about Excelsior Classes, I do have a full video on my YouTube channel that you can check out.

Kirkwood Education Online

Next is a Christian online homeschooling program for kids in PreK through 5th grade called Kirkwood Education Online. I have never reviewed this program before, but it looks really interesting. For $50 a month you get access to their entire curriculum including videos, interactive lessons and PDFs of the workbooks to download and print.

Their curriculum includes lessons to teach the foundations of math and reading, vocabulary and spelling lessons, bible lessons, science, history and even cursive. It definitely looks like a great all in one option, and you can even get a 30 day money back guarantee.

BJU Press

Next is a program you’ve probably heard of, but this is the ultimate guide to Christian homeschool curriculum, so I can’t leave it off. It’s called BJU Press, and it’s a complete Christian homeschool curriculum that is very popular with homeschool families. And while you can buy just the textbooks and teach it yourself, I’m including it on my list because they also have video lessons to go along with the books. So you still need to purchase the textbooks, but instead of planning and teaching the lessons yourself, your child would watch the videos as if they were in class.

With BJU Press you can shop for just one subject at a time, or you can buy a whole grade level package. And what I like about this company is that if you do buy the whole grade level package, you can customize the kit and adjust the grade level for some of the subjects. While this is on the expensive side, they do have payment plans. They also have samples of the video lessons on their website that you can watch to see if you think this might be a good fit before you buy.

Sonlight

Next is a popular Christian homeschool curriculum called Sonlight. This is a print curriculum not an online program, but I’m including it on the list because they do have some online features that you won’t find with many other print homeschool curriculums.

There are 2 different options you can choose from – Sonlight Guides or Sonlight Virtual. With the first option, you get online instructor guides, and a place to upload assignments and keep track of upcoming assignments and grades. You can get a free sample of the online guides by putting in your information and using the code on their website.

The second option also includes some online assignments and automatic grading, although it is only available for their high school language arts courses.

Easy Peasy Christian Homeschool Curriculum

Next on our list is a completely free Christian online homeschooling program called Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool. I have talked about this program before and I personally think it’s one of the best free curriculum options out there. You can get a complete Christian homeschool curriculum from PreK all the way through high school, and everything is right there for you online.

Just sign up, pick your child’s courses, and have them follow along with the program. You will have to check their work and mark it complete each day, but other than that your child can work through this program independently. They have all sorts of helpful information on their website including placement guides, so it’s definitely worth checking out. And if you want to see a full review and demo of the program, I do have one on my YouTube channel.

Journey Homeschool Academy

Next on our list is a Christian online homeschooling program called Journey Homeschool Academy. They offer science and Bible courses for kids in elementary, middle and high school and everything is done online or accessed through downloadable lesson PDFs.

The courses are all self paced, so you can start any time during the year, and your child will get video lessons, reading assignments, quizzes to check for understanding, and even hands on lab experiments with the science courses. You can even preview the first 2 lessons in any course with just your email address, so it’s a great way to check this out and see if it might be something your kids would like.

Prices range from $149 for the elementary level courses to $279 for high school, and payments can be spread out over 3 months if you can’t come up with the full payment up front.

Compass Classroom

Another must have online resource for Christian homeschoolers is Compass Classroom. They have online video lessons for a lot of different subjects, but what they’re probably most known for is their history curriculum with Dave Raymond. They have a complete 4 year history course that’s taught with a Christian worldview, and I think you’ll really like it.

You can purchase the courses individually or you can sign up for their membership and get access to a wide variety of courses for one monthly price. And you can try that out for 2 weeks for free, so it’s a great way to test out the courses even if you end up purchasing them individually.

You can also view sample videos and lessons for many of the courses. The courses include video lessons, printable lesson transcripts, assignments and exams and I think you’ll agree these are very high quality courses. If you want to see my full video review of Compass Classroom, check it out here.

The Good and the Beautiful

Next is another very popular Christian homeschool curriculum from the Good and the Beautiful. This isn’t actually an online homeschooling program, but I’m including it on my list because you can access most of the materials online and print them at home. So you won’t have to wait for anything to arrive in the mail.

They have placement tests, sample lesson pages, and best of all, they have free printable language arts and math curriculums that you can just download and print off at any time. So if you’re looking to try something new in your homeschool, this is definitely worth checking out.

Abeka Academy

Another complete online homeschooling program that combines physical textbooks with video lessons is from Abeka Academy. Similar to BJU press, you can purchase just one subject at a time, or get a full year curriculum by grade level. And you can of course teach this curriculum yourself, but you can also use the video lessons and have your child follow along as if they were in the classroom. I am going to warn you though, the Abeka Academy curriculum is intensive and the videos are long. So that’s something to consider before buying this curriculum. It also happens to be on the expensive side.

Abeka Academy has sample video lessons on their website so you can get a feel for the program. You can also get your first 25 hours of the Abeka Academy streaming videos free, and I’ve heard this can last you quite awhile if you’re careful to only choose the lessons you think your child needs the most. They also do offer an accredited option which might appeal to some families.

Veritas Press

Another Christian homeschool curriculum company that offers both live and self paced online homeschool courses is Veritas Press. You can even get a 2 week free trial in any of their self paced online courses with no credit card required.

Unfortunately, I tried this out and was unable to get the lessons to load, so I don’t know if it’s just me or the course I picked or if this would be an issue for everyone. Prices range from $199 each for the Bible courses to $350 for their Omnibus courses, and include 1 year of access to the online course.

Unfortunately, for many of these you will still need to purchase print materials to go along with the online courses.

Apologia

Another Christian online homeschooling program that offers both self paced and live classes is from Apologia. And while you won’t be able to register for their next year of live classes until the spring, you can get started right now on their self paced online courses.

They have self paced online courses for general science, physical science, biology and chemistry, and each course is $269. They also have some literature unit studies.

What I really like about this is you can demo the self paced courses for free without having to give them your credit card info. The lessons included text, videos, and offline assignments including labs, and to me they appear to be very comprehensive. It’s definitely worth testing out these courses to see if they might be a good fit for your middle or high school student.

Gather Round

And finally, last on our list is another Christian curriculum that isn’t exactly an online program, but it is a curriculum that is available as a digital download so you can start using it right away. It’s called Gather Round Homeschool, and it’s really interesting because all of the curriculum bundles are sold as unit studies. So you get to pick which topic most interests your child and then you’ll be teaching all the subjects except math through the unit study style curriculum. It’s definitely an interesting concept. And it’s funny because the creator of this curriculum started out as a YouTube creator reviewing curriculum just like me. So maybe creating a curriculum is in my future!

You can get a free one day digital sample of many of the units so you can check out this program before you buy it. My kids are really into animals, and I kind of wish we were using a curriculum like this! It really looks like fun, and it might be a really great curriculum for kids who are resistant to learning from more traditional textbooks.

So that’s our list of 15 online Christian homeschool curriculum picks for 2025. If you’re looking for a new curriculum or homeschooling program, I hope you got some inspiration from this list.

I know there are probably some curriculums and programs that I missed, but 15 seemed like a good number. So if there are any other great resources out there that you’d like to recommend, leave a comment so we can add them to the list.
